Churning Field
From the 2020 - 2021 series "If I Were a Blade of Grass". Unfortunately I wasn't able to include this painting in the original shows for the series and am very excited to be able to display it now! It was the second I created in the series and is based on the farmland in Eastern Washington. I strove to choose the right colors to evoke the hot sun and dry grass. I'm in a love hate relationship with this painting. I both like the way the grass came out and feel like I failed the painting.
Specs and Care
An 18.5 x 18.5 inch soft pastel painting in a 1.25 inch white mat with a modern light wood frame. Exterior frame dimensions come to 22.25 x 22.25 inches. This painting is ready to hang and arrives with a picture hanging nail, making it effortless for you to display.
We kindly advise you to place this artwork away from direct sunlight to preserve its vibrant hues and ensure its timeless beauty for generations to come.
Pick Up / Local Delivery
Art hanging at Oxbow Bakery must remain up until the end of show. An email of notification will be sent around the middle of September with artwork pick up and/or local delivery dates and time ranges, with the option to adjust your plans if needed. I will also have an information posted on the main page of my website and on Instagram.
The last day to view the show will be Wednesday, October 2nd. I will be sending out emails regarding art pick up / local delivery in the next few weeks as we get closer to the show take down, Thursday, October 3rd.
For early bird planners such as myself, I am looking at availability to pick up art during takedown on Thursday (time to be determined) and then doing the official pick up / delivery that following Saturday the 5th.
