Feeling a bit Tangled
One of two nasturtium based paintings created in the spring of 2024. Created after the smaller nasturtium piece, I wanted to continue the concept of rhythm with the leaves, but this time incorporate layers and a sense of tangled depth. I intentionally made it less clear if the flowers are the subject. To me the subject of the painting is the air in between the leaves and stems and in some sense the viewer themselves. I like to leave things a bit ambiguous so that the viewer may add their own story.
Specs and Care
An 26 3/4 x 18 5/8 inch soft pastel painting in a 2 1/2 inch white mat with a modern light wood frame and non-glare acrylic glazing. Exterior frame dimensions come to 31 1/2 x 23 3/8 inches. This painting is ready to hang and arrives with a picture hanging nail, making it effortless for you to display.
We kindly advise you to place this artwork away from direct sunlight to preserve its vibrant hues and ensure its timeless beauty for generations to come.
Art Pick Up / Delivery
Art hanging at Oxbow Bakery must remain up until the end of show. An email of notification will be sent around the middle of September with artwork pick up and/or local delivery dates and time ranges, with the option to adjust your plans if needed. I will also have an information posted on the main page of my website and on Instagram.
The last day to view the show will be Wednesday, October 2nd. I will be sending out emails regarding art pick up / local delivery in the next few weeks as we get closer to the show take down, Thursday, October 3rd.
For early bird planners such as myself, I am looking at availability to pick up art during takedown on Thursday (time to be determined) and then doing the official pick up / delivery that following Saturday the 5th.
