Bagel Sandwich with an Onion Eye, Red Pattern

One of four food and floral still lives created in the spring and early summer of 2024. This painting has a twin, in addition to the theme of the entire set of light and pattern, I wanted to display the power of color. All of the colors are the same in both paintings except for the lines on the tablecloth pattern. Changing this one color impacts the mood and harmony of every other color within the image. Intentional slight variations in the drawings are there to tease the viewer and make it a bit of a "spot the difference" game. My personal challenge with this mini series was to keep things loose and more spirited and impulsive. I wouldn't say I achieved this goal.

Specs and Care

This is for the purchase of 1 painting, not the set of twins. A 28 1/2 x 26 7/8 inch soft pastel painting in a 2 1/2 inch white mat with a modern light wood frame and non-glare acrylic glazing. Exterior frame dimensions come to 31 5/8 x 33 1/4 inches. This painting is ready to hang and arrives with a picture hanging nail, making it effortless for you to display.

We kindly advise you to place this artwork away from direct sunlight to preserve its vibrant hues and ensure its timeless beauty for generations to come.

Art Pick Up / Delivery

Art hanging at Oxbow Bakery must remain up until the end of show. I will be taking my show down Thursday, October 3rd during the afternoon hours of 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. You are more than welcome to come and pick up your painting during that time!

Otherwise, I will be having the official pick up and delivery date on Saturday, October 5th. Starting with pick up times between 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm and then delivery following after.?

Studies will be packaged in a foam cushioned box for safe and easy transport. Larger paintings will be wrapped in packaging foam. Each piece will come with a complimentary hanging hook and nail.
