Are There Picnics in Heaven?
One of four food and floral still lives created in the spring and early summer of 2024. I wanted to create an overwhelming sensation of light in this painting. That feeling of when the sun comes out from behind a cloud and the world just glows. Along with this I also played with a layering of patterns and dots. With the loose tile pattern as the base, then a zig-zag cloth on top of that with dots, that are then reflected in the sesame seeds on the bagel, the seeds on the strawberries, and the stamen of the rose. My personal challenge with this mini series was the keep things loose and in a more spirited impulsive sense. I wouldn't say I achieved this goal.

Art Pick Up / Delivery
Art hanging at Oxbow Bakery must remain up until the end of show. An email of notification will be sent around the middle of September with artwork pick up and/or local delivery dates and time ranges, with the option to adjust your plans if needed. I will also have an information posted on the main page of my website and on Instagram.
The last day to view the show will be Wednesday, October 2nd. I will be sending out emails regarding art pick up / local delivery in the next few weeks as we get closer to the show take down, Thursday, October 3rd.
For early bird planners such as myself, I am looking at availability to pick up art during takedown on Thursday (time to be determined) and then doing the official pick up / delivery that following Saturday the 5th.
